STUDIO EIGHT is a Mississippi floral design studio by Maddie Stockman inspired by seasonality, art, storytelling, and found objects. The brand was born from a deep love of land and flowers - honoring creation, cultivating it, and encapsulating the elements as they deserve.

The number "Eight" was chosen out of its unusual reoccurrence during the beginning years of formation. An apartment and safe haven numbered 8 on the coveted Van Buren Avenue in Oxford. An interaction with a man discussing the symbolism of numbers, "Particularly 8," he said, "New beginnings." It felt fitting for this brand. Our interventions often mark new beginnings. Marriages and babies and birthdays. But, in all honestly, nature has a way of guiding us through the many seasons life throws at each of us. A constant in the times of reinventing oneself or the saving grace you need when you're searching for beauty in this world.

That's been my experience with studying florals during my years, and I couldn't be more indebted to their magic. I hope to pass that along to each of our clients.
